Chefmaster Gel Bases are highly concentrated food colorings originally developed for industry professionals. They are best formulated for applications where you want even more vibrant, rich colors without adding too much moisture in your recipe as to not alter the taste, texture, or consistency of the finished product.

Gel Bases have a thick – almost paste-like – texture and are perfect for coloring fondants, gum pastes, batters, cake frosting, and more. A little goes a long way.

Chefmaster Gel colorings are very effective in dying all types of batter and producing saturated colors after baking without affecting the taste of the finished product.

"Remove seal before use.

Due to the high quality of our product, you need to use very little Chefmaster gel coloring to achieve a vibrant color.

For small batch sizes and home recipes we are recommending dipping a toothpick in the Gel base and add very small amounts each time until you reach your desired color.

For best results, especially for large size batches, we recommend adding colors directly to other liquid ingredients and mix together before combining with any solid components in the recipe.

Close your jar tightly after each use."
